Rubbed my heels bloody

By Hawk Jorgenson from Kendall, WI on Jul 6, 2013

These rubbed the skin on my heels raw after the first day. I've had good experiences with belleville boots in the past as I've worn almost every different brand of boot in my 16 year career in the Army. I was expecting these flyweight boots to be just as comfortable but they kept rubbing even after a week. I tried wearing 2 pairs of socks but that didnt fix the problem. These were the first pair of belleville boots that I had to return because of this.

Good and lightweight

By Johnny Gray from New York, NY on Jun 9, 2013

Good lightweight boots. the canvas fabric upper really keeps your feet cool and are suited for hot weather. These dont make the best hunting boots in the wintertime because the cold goes right through them.

Good Overall

By Jeff from Branson, MO on Apr 3, 2013

This boot is missing a padded collar but really needed if you're using boot blousers and not tucking your pants into your boots. These don't seem as durable as my s2Vs but they're also several ounces lighter so I guess each boot has its pluses and minuses. Overall these fit pretty good and did run true to size with my running shoes.

Excellent Hot Weather Boot

By Ronald L. Martin from Plano, TX on Mar 26, 2013

I use these boots for rucking and they have been great. The fact that theyre light really makes a difference after a couple of hours when you feel the weight of every ounce that you're carrying. These also stay cool and do a good job making sure my feet dont sweat even in 100 degree conditions.

great lightweight boots

By jack piper on Jan 16, 2013

these are great lightweight boots. they do run about a 1/2 size small though so you might want to order a larger size. other than that, they are perfect. i just got them last week so if anything goes wrong, at least they are covered by a one year warranty.

Great light boots for rucking

By Abe A. on Nov 13, 2012

Very light boots. I got these because I was looking for a pair of lighter boots for rucking. When I have 40lbs of gear and 5 more miles to go, I'm really really glad i have these boots.

Pros:
lightweight
Cons:

Good quality from Belleville

By Will Surly on Oct 10, 2012

I bought these after owning 3 pairs of Bellevilles. I won't buy any other brand. Even though these Flyweights are made in China, they seem to be high quality with double stitching and a cushiony sole. These boots are great for movement and flexibility so I thought Id try em. The ankle support provides very little restriction which make them great for running and these are much less clunky than my other boots. So far so good.I've had great experiences with Belleville in the past so hopefully these won't let me down.
